Community Impact

Community Impact

I have been fortunate to meet and collaborate with thought leaders supporting individuals with diverse abilities. Over the years, individuals with special needs, families and colleagues have pushed me to dream bigger and think smarter, while focusing on collective impact rather than duplication of services.

Coalition & Collaborative Work

Bringing the right people to the table is often the hardest part of creating real change. If your agency or organization wants to convene providers, families, funders, or community partners around a shared goal, facilitating that kind of coalition or collaborative group is a service I offer.

As Board President of FL APSE, I lead our board in hosting statewide conferences, trainings, webinars, and networking events across Florida’s employment and disability services network.

Previously, I helped facilitate the Palm Beach County Special Needs Advisory Coalition (PBCSNAC), in collaboration with the Unicorn Children’s Foundation, bringing together families, providers, and community partners to advance services for individuals with special needs across Palm Beach County.

Currently, I facilitate Provider Support meetings as part of FL APSE — statewide sessions that bring Florida’s employment and disability services providers together to share what’s working, tackle shared challenges, and strengthen collaboration across the state.

That same coordination extends to event planning — organizing and arranging the networking events, webinars, and educational series that keep a coalition or membership community engaged year-round, including large-scale events like the FL APSE Collaboration Summit.

If your organization is looking to build or lead a coalition like this, let’s talk about what that could look like for you.
